Paul Moore is the Founder and the Managing Partner of Wellings Capital. Paul offers a fresh perspective on creative real estate investing and philanthropy in 2020. He is also the author of The Perfect Investment, and the co-host of a podcast called, How to Lose Money.
Paul graduated with a degree in engineering and had an MBA from Ohio State. He worked at Ford Motor Company for 5 years before Paul started a staffing company with a partner. Paul and his partner sold it to a publicly traded firm five years later for $2.9 million.
Along the way, Paul was Finalist for Ernst & Young’s Michigan Entrepreneur of the Year two years straight (1996 & 1997). Paul later entered the real estate sector, where he flipped over 50 homes and 25 high-end waterfront lots, appeared on HGTV’s House Hunters, rehabbed and managed rental properties, built a number of new homes, developed a subdivision, and started two successful online real estate marketing firms.
In this episode, we discuss:
A little bit about his background and if he had any influences with his family that brought him to who he is now.
How he started at Ford Motor Company from being a Petroleum Engineering graduate.
His story of how he started his company and the learning experiences that he had along the way
What’s another way that you can build wealth?
How finding an expert can help to expose the business to the widest number of potential buyers.
What attracted him to do self-storage, mobile home parks and multifamily units?
I hope you will find this episode as exciting and informative as I have. Paul will give you a lot of insights on how to grow and maximize the investment through passive commercial real estate.
